LA native Michael Minden, better known as “Mikey,” is currently one of the industry’s most in demand creative visionaries. He has created movement for such performers as Pitbull, Pink, Mya, Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, K Michelle, Amber Rose, Keyshia Cole, Carmen Electra, Havana Brown, Usher and many more. Mikey has been sought out by the world famous Pussycat Dolls as artistic director and choreographer for the entire PCD brand. Throughout his time as the dolls’ artistic director, he has worked with many guest celebrities including, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Kim Kardashian, etc.He has been featured on the CW network’s hit TV show, Pussycat Dolls presents: The Search for the Next Doll, and Pussycat Dolls presents: Girlicious. Other television shows include: “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” MTV’s Dancelife, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Dance Moms and currently on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.

He is well experienced in coaching actors including Jimmy Fallon, Charlie Sheen, Cameron Diaz, David Boreanaz, Scarlett Johannsen, Matt LeBlanc, among others. A few of his commercial credits include Best Buy, Cingular, NBA, Old Spice, Carl’s Jr., and Skechers. Mikey’s work in television has been featured on Bones, Melrose Place, Two and a Half Men, Chuck, and Las Vegas.

Mikey is the winner of the 2006 MTV VMA Best Dance Video for Pussycat Dolls “Buttons,” and 2008 MTV VMA Best Dance video for Pussycat Dolls “When I Grow Up.” As well as being nominated in 2009 MTV VMA Best Chroegraphy for Pussycat Dolls “Jai Ho”. He has also been the artistic director and choreographer for award shows all over the world including: The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, MTV VMA’s, MTV EMA’s, MTV Movie Awards, Much Music Awards, The Billboard Awards and tons of others around the world. Mikey has since branched off and directed music videos for some of the hottest female pop artists in the past year. Trained at The Alvin Ailey School in NYC, while on Broadway playing “Chip” in The Beauty and the Beast. He was extremelyfortunate to study under dance legends such as Marguerite Derricks, Michael Rooney, Otis Sallid, and Hinton Battle.

Thus giving him an extremely well rounded knowledge of technique and the history of dance. Mikey is a world renowned teacher himself, spreading his style of movement all around the world such as Tokyo, London, New York, Los Angeles, to name a few markets. He has toured on the famous Tremaine Dance Conventions, giving seminars to young dancers on what it takes to flourish in the dance industry. With an expansive experience in teaching, Mikey has the ability to educate dancers and groom them into professional dancers with an approach that is positive and inspiring.

His signature style of movement is inspiring to all ages, as his technical background merges with the commercial dance world seamlessly.
